No I like the idea, I'm probably retarded to think Resident Evil 4 could run on the Dreamcast though Phantasy Star Universe
Gradius 5 and KOF Maximum impact 2 would've been great game s on it.

The Zeebo or Mobile port of RE4, if had source reversed for it definitely could run on DC.

Would Unreal single player be possible? Perhaps the DC port of UT could be modified to load SP maps, models and gametypes. Maps would need to be cut into segments for performance, some of them are massive.

I wonder how far Epic/GT made it with the original DC port that was cancelled before UT hit the market. They would have needed to write a UMX player to fit in the hours of music and use dynamic playback instead of CDDA streams like the UT ports did.

I often wondered that as well. Unreal on PC is a really awesome game, way different to the later online oriented Tournament games. Really a fully fledged singleplayer story experience I would love to see on DC, but like Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament is a Katana SDK game. Not windows CE like the much easier modable games are. However, I do know people got Quake 3 PC maps working on Dreamcast as there actually used to be a version of the game released on modded ISO which had dozens and dozens more custom maps and character avatars. So it still may not be out of the question. Somebody who is well versed in the Unreal Engine should be able to look at the game files and say if modding it is remotely possible.

Holy shit I found the thread! moi was the one who was working on it! I knew I remembered seeing this! It would be great to do more with that engine for sure! Even singleplayer mods could be possible.

I posted a thread about that where a guy recreated Wolfenstein 3D in it and it was awesome!

Just look at what we could do with this, gotta be able to make singleplayer mods for sure.

Is Streets of Rage Remake possible? Here is the github to psvita port. It is made with BennuGD. And I think it is using SDL 1.2.
