Absolutely. Sega seemed to be ahead of the curve but weren't in the game long enough to enact all the concepts out.

DLC for the first time on consoles.
Downloadable retro titles (Dream Library)
Music Player
Online out of the box
In-game Microphone chat
Keyboard+mouse combo
Portable gaming device (VMU) that would now likely be done as a mobile phone app
VOIP Calling (WhatsApp+ calling anyone?)
Twin stick control inputs (unused currently in the MAPLE controller bus)

Among many others. It would have been glorious to see them stay in the game.

I have a brief video update. -drez01- sent me a modified Dream Passport that he successfully got the Dream Library and page music running on! The audio in the video is unedited and plays through the DC when the relevant pages load. This is and early test, so there's a lot to be done on both the site and the browser disc. We only just worked out that images stored to the disc itself can't have a dash "-" symbol in their name or they fail to load for some reason, but they work fine online. We are inching closer to something usable.

Yes, it's very impressive considering how utterly crap Internet Explorer really was at the time. Slow, insecure, no web standards, bad javascript interpreter, no tabs (!), no download management, bad password management... actually it's useless to list the ways IE sucked, it was just all-round incomprehensible that it was what almost everyone was stuck with for years and years.

Your are good and right. We all know about it. Its really bad for internet surfing too. Thats why it lose his position and his position grabed by other best service provider. Am i right..!

Demo so far is great. A little hard to navigate the loader, but impressive work so far. I like the built in game website archives. the style choices ready hits the nostalgic area hard. Curious where is the site music from, it fits way to good.

I appreciate the "no don't run away" warning on the first post. My first thought was literally, "what's so special about a browser?"

Yeah, this is really impressive. Keep up the good work!

Not necessarily the best, but rather the most nimble.

The benefit of using an IRC relay bot for Discord is that every browser that includes IRC capabilities is already ready to go for Discord. We're going to make it a pre-set option too, so it should be easily accessible when you access the browsers.

I'm currently working on database-stuff (Still very much learning, but slowly getting a hang of things) and also building a unique background artwork for the Mega Drive page. The Dreamcast page has a wonderful San Francisco sunset art, Saturn has the space design, so for the Mega Drive I've decided to replicate a classic part of Sega's history by rebuilding the entrance to SegaWorld in the Trocadero, London (circa 1997).

This is one of the reference images, and the clearest in terms of details, to the Sonic standee area. And below are two WIP stills of the artwork (rebuilt off of a low resolution photo). Bear in mind that it's far far from finished, with texturing and lighting effects to be mapped in yet (as well as finishing several main build areas, such as the round desk to the right of the Sonic podium). The "pink" windows behind were screens, which I'll make transparent and add animated GIFs of something classic SEGA.

Fifteen years ago I used to be immense at pixel art. I'm very rusty, so this is going to take me quite some time to actually polish off. I believe you should speak with a specialist who creates kitchen ideas. I've been creating designs for a while. I also learned how to work with fonts and graphics thanks to the website https://masterbundles.com/ . I'm hoping that through gaining experience, I'll be able to draw kitchen projects in the future. Hope the concept whets your appetites though :)

By the way, for some reason I still do not work service discord.

The IRC discord relay is up again but who knows for how long. Old builds of WebTV will not work cuz the server changed IP's. But DP and PW seem to work for now..
