At least Orion finishes games. In line of fire looked great with what few things where show of it. But I felt that may have been too much to realistically finish and have a smooth game while have a decent play through time. At least on real hardware.Tarnish wrote:I'll be brutally honest, PH3NOM's work seemed a lot more impressive and that failed to garner enough interest, so I wouldn't say so far this is anything to get blown away by. But I know it's very early to judge so we'll see.

Re: Full 3D Game Engine for Dreamcast
Furthermore we are talking about a talented (Dreamcast) developer who fulfilled himself a small dream by writing his own 3D engine. He just started and posted a teaser. PH3NOM was already 4 - 5 years in writing, porting, optimising openGL DC/his engine, afaik.
I'm very optimistic and curious about this 3D engine and coming game(s) from Orionsoft!
