Hey guys, after months without an update and with much suffering LoL. a new version is available.

On this version a shumpup template has been added and its totally editable. Now the tool has 3 templates: ShumUp, platform (Sonic), action-platform (Mega Man).

Soon I will add a template for RPG, a more friendly interface and I hope to add support for online games :)

Cheers.

Yesssss! Keep up the good work, I'm so glad to see this being actively updated. :D

Just discovered this (ironically through your website while looking for something else entirely, then accidentally found a link back to here haha) and I'm VERY interested, especially in the RPG update. Please keep us informed.

I was going to try and convert a Windows exe 2D title to DC, but that looks like it requires epic programming skills and source codes, which I doubt I'll be able to wrap my head around at this time. But I used to do shed loads of pixel art back in the early 2000s, so hopefully I can add that edge to something home-grown ^_^

Thinking about it, there are loads of sprite-shading and pixel art techniques I developed and never ended up releasing cos they were on unfinished projects. I may be a crap game maker (We will see) but I promise you the environments will look amazing :p

Back to my point, thank you for this NeoSnk! I really wanna make an RPG, so do be sure to keep all of us here in the loop ^_^

Sorry for the double post, but on your website it states to do the following;

- Open the file C:/cygwin/Cygwin.bat and when the DOS window stops processing close it.
- Go to the folder C:/cygwin/home and delete the folder with the name of your user leaving only the folder titan_ide and rename titan_ide with the name of your user.

Well, on installing Titan_IDE_0_3.exe it has created the folder with the name of my user, but it has not created a folder called titan_ide in that directory. I have;
C:/cygwin/home/luiz_
and
C:/cygwin/home/USER

Do I rename luiz_ to the USER or do I rename
C:/cygwin/Titan IDE

Just a bit of confusion, sorry.

Hey sorry for my delay. Yes you are right, delete the folder with your user name and rename luiz_ with your username!

I'm going to release the new version on this week. Thanks for the message :)

The initial idea for version 0.4 of Titan IDE was to add a RPG template, but because making it has gotten harder than expected, I decided to release the 0.4 version with a Vertical ShumUp template. In addition to the new template, I’ve replaced the emulator to Demul to avoid some bugs that were reported with NullDC and also updated the version of NotePad ++ that is included in the tool.

For version 0.5 we will finally have the RPG template that is doing well by now and also some updates on the interface. So it wont be necessary to rename the folders to use a specific template anymore. Some friends have also asked me to do some video lessons using the tool, so I ask you to sign up in our channel where the videos will be posted.

Last Saturday 05/05/2018 we attended the 8th Anime Games Festival event where we presented the Titan IDE and some demo of games developed using it. The reaction of the people was very positive, and we were invited to participate in other events in which we will announce very soon. Take a look on the pictures of the event and keep an eye on the new updates :)

Thanks for sharing those pictures NeoSNK! It's great to see audiences enjoying your work. Keep it up! :D

Question on your upcoming RPG template- will it incorporate a turn based, random battle system?
