They're talking about upcomming projects on other platformers. Which is just sad because Wii U is supposidly just 5-6 months away from launch. Nintendo couldn't even get one publisher at TGS or after to annouce support for Wii U, just pathetic.

Well MrSega/Lindburgh2007/Futura/Tornado1994, maybe if they wanted to hear about the developer's plans for Wii U, perhaps they should of asked that question. Don't you think?

You forgot RingEdge2010 and the one that had Neptune in the name somehow.

Dang it, I knew I forgot a few. I'll edit the post.

Speaking of rumors...here's one to look out for. This one being from an actual Gaming site, for a change of pace.

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/next-xbo ... -e3/089421

Both the Xbox 360 successor AND a follow up to the PS3 will be shown at E3 2012.

The LA show tease will come as Wii U launch details are locked in – and should ensure no ground is lost between competing consoles.

It will mark the very first time in the show’s 17-year history that three fresh, rival console formats will be so directly comparable.

Microsoft has long been rumoured to detail its next-gen plans at E3 2012, and MCV's third-party publishing sources claim the firm had signalled to partners this will happen.

The 360 is one of the longest-serving games consoles in history. But the real surprise is an early move from Sony. Execs at the PlayStation firm have made it clear to third-parties that they will not be left behind this time.

Execs aren’t expecting price or launch details for the new Xbox or PlayStation. But their unveiling could be a perfect spoiler to the pre-Christmas launch date and price that will be revealed for Wii U in June.

Mmm.......interesting. Seems like there might be a PS4 after all ?! :) For me it(the new consoles launch) all seems to be arriving far quicker than I thought it would - I've only just got my PS3 !!

Anyway, this is quoted from the same site:

"There will be a chunk of readers who think two new consoles at June’s E3 is at best too premature, or, at worst, expensive folly.

Certainly I, like many others, heard a little voice in the back of my mind whispering “too soon” when I found out a new Xbox and the next PlayStation are ready for an E3 2012 tease.

This past Christmas has offered real pause for thought when it comes to the evolving nature of interactive content. The best selling handheld device last month was a sub-£100 black and white eReader, and on December 25th itself – while the shops were closed – 6.5m Angry Birds games were downloaded to new devices.

Yes, Kindle, iPad and Android suggest that new consoles aren’t going to settle well at all. But that thinking isn’t quite sound. And that whispering voice we can hear is just an echo of something Don Mattrick must’ve said once at an E3 past about ‘lengthening the console cycle’.

Look back through history and you realise that new consoles are actually late to arrive. Over the last decade and a little further, you can trace a line of industry-driven innovation coming to market each year.

PS2 (2000), Xbox and GameCube (2001), Xbox Live (2002), N-Gage, PSP and DS (2003/2004), Xbox 360 (2005), PS3 and Wii (2006)…But the story dries up in 2007, coincidentally the year the first iPhone and Kindle arrived on the market.

Balance Board? Move? Kinect? New DS releases? These were iterations on the same idea. Treading water.

The big story many of us missed was that the traditional games firms stagnated in the innovation stakes, and that’s when the new wave of non-games devices swept in.

The market is now aching for those same companies to inject some long-overdue innovation into it.So the opportunity is there for new consoles to redress the balance. Roll on Los Angeles."

I believe the sources are reffering to the PS3 upgrade. The sources are also claiming that Mircosoft is in a hurry to rush out the Xbox Loop for the holiday which in itself is a pretty bogus claim.

The only thing next gen wise Sony has filed is something called "NEAR". So if there's a PS4, 1. it certainly as HELL ain't called PS4 and 2. It's pretty early in development.

My article, whoever it's sources claim to be point blank going by the article, simply said that they will be shown in terms of design, no launch or price is expected. The first E3 where all 3 consoles to be shown at once, and again, I personally have pegged this as a rumor, not claimed it was fact or happening, but there is always a possibility

Considering that Microsoft was 3rd last year in Patents filed, trailing Samsung and IBM I believe, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they want to pressure Nintendo on the console front. MS never put in a 10 year plan and Most consoles for the past few generations have at max gone about 6-8 years.

…you mean Sony wasn't just going to have the Vita for the rest of their being until the entire Sony conglomerate, one of the largest in the world, collapses under the weight of the losses of the SCE divison?

Seems fishy to me…
