Looney Tunes: Space Race possible bug

I'm using the dumpcast verified image "Looney Tunes Space Race v1.000 (2000)(Infogrames)(NTSC)(US)(M3)[!]" in GDEMU.

During a race, if I press Start and select Restart, the music (CDDA) will stop and the game will keep running slower than usual. It happens every time.

Can someone with the physical US GD-ROM check if this happens too? I think it's a GDEMU bug, but I'd like to be sure before reporting.

Thanks.

I've performed such steps numerous times on GD Rom retail game while I played the game for 100% completion rate last year. Results never occured to my recollection.

We just played a four player game over the weekend for over two hours. Never a problem with the restart.

So it's a GDEMU bug :/

I'm going to verify my dump and report to Deunan. Thank you guys.

Curious, this error is happening only with one SD card I'm using (Sandisk 16gb Class 10).

Well, I'm going to report it anyway. Thanks.

If that's the only card with the problem, it might be a bad cell in the flash memory. Try making a second copy of the game on the same card without removing the copy that crashes. If it's a bad cell, letting the old copy occupy that cell should allow the second copy to reside on uncorrupted cells. If it still crashes, then it's probably a defective card.

Aleron, it's not. I tried erasing all images and tried only this one in the card, and the exact same behavior happened. It looks like a bug that happens with this specific card / card model.
