Hi guys, its my first post as i only joined today so please be gentle.

I have a Panasonic TX-P46S10B 1080p HD TV

I have got my dreamcast today and hooked it up via Scart Lead (Its not fully wired so i dont think its a true RGB type)

The problem is that the picture is moved to the left leaving a big black bar on the right side of the screen. I have done some research on the net but not really found a solution. I have gone into the service menu to try and adjust the picture but cant see a setting to do this. It displays just fine on my 32 inch old CRT TV.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's most likely because of the resolution 1080p (1920 x 1080) HDTV. The (I am assuming PAL you have) Dreamcast has a native full screen that supports maximum 768 x 480ish. The CRT is probably (barely) enough to support the Dreamcast's native full resolution. The console can stretch to 16:9, but it will reach it's limit causing the black bar on your screen, and it will sometimes look grainy.

My Panasonic has bars left and right side too I'm not that worried about it on mine, but I know certain games can adjust the picture size in the games never tried it because I'm ok with the way mine looks like.
