Hmm, quite possible you're right...

I take it this is also one of those First Print Limited Editions?...

Segagadomain says the 1st edition print comes with 3 glossy character cards. They don't talk about the other version though. But if you read between the lines it seems very likely the other version does indeed not have those cards...

These are the two versions with spines:

Image limited edition?...

Image regular edition?...

Maybe someone can translate the spines and clear things up?...

That one version seems to say something about pictures, and then reperu something...

Anyways, thanks for the info Mazone... ^^

Also, be a doll, post all the Sakura Taisen games with all their versions for me will you. Try to be as accurate and official as possible with your description. And maybe let us know what makes every version unique...

EDIT Fuck me, now I found a third version with yet another spine.

My heart. This is too much... Medic !!!

Somebody please turansurate those spines for me...

The first two pictures mention 3 trading cards on the spine, the 3rd picture does not on the spine.

The first two also mention something about a "memories of second, making disc" which is probably a making of disc for Memories of Second? The third picture doesn't mention this.

you're reading the wrong direction, when Japanese is read from top to bottom, you read from the right most column and then go left.

かけがえのない
想いとひきかえに...

This is something lame like "love is irreplaceable..."
Certainly no information on what's included or not in the package from the spine card on the third one.

Thanks...

Still don't know what the translation is for that extra text on the limited edition spine though. The first pink sentence (on the right) below those 5 Kanji. That part's not on the other spine. It's the Katakana part that says picture (ピクチャ-) something and then 2 more Kanji. What does it say?...

Also, thanks for pointing out the right to left thingy... ^^

EDIT

Found out that last version, the one with the lame spine card text -lol- is the DoriKore version without the sticker.

Click the picture below for a link to the source...

So it turns out DoriKore versions not only have different barcodes, but also different spine cards. Interesting...

Now if only I could find out what that ピクチャ- something on the limited edition's spine means, then maybe I would know what sets it apart from the regular edition...

Where are you dark?...

I know, I'm a pain...

But I mean well...

The pink text on the limited edition says:

Dun dun dun!

”Limited edition picture label”

I'll happily translate a lot of Japanese for you if you can compensate me with DC items lol

You know, for a second I actually thought the spine read: Dun dun dun!

And then I saw what it actually said...

No idea what exactlly it is they mean by that. but I guess I have enough info to adjust the OP now... ^^

elmagicochrisg wrote:I take it this is also one of those First Print Limited Editions?...

I was thinking about this last night, and I bet picture label refers to the disc having a printed picture label (like DOA2 LE), rather than having a label embossed on the disc in just 3 colors and looking all metallic, like the majority of DC releases.
