Dreamcast GD-IDE SSD Dreamshell/RetroDream disc swapping

How to swap discs on Dreamshell/RetroDream with GD-IDE with SSD? I've read something about automatic swap? I have also read something about multi-discs games in one gdi image, is that true? So how to swap games with this setup and/or create/find one gdi image of multiple discs? It would be useful for me for D2 and if I wanted to play Dino Crisis and Resident Evil with gameshark (first booting gameshark GD/CD and then game).
