Greetings! I've bought a new spu3200, and installed it, but for some odd reason, the motor that works moving the lenses back and forth to read the disc appears not to work, it won't move, or go very slowly to the beginning of the reading process, with a clanking sounds. I removed the solder point as advised by the product, and put everything back in its place, what could I be missing?
So, the product is a SPU3200 that you can find pretty much everywhere (https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61I ... SX679_.jpg). I removed the solder point as pointed out by the product's description, then proceeded to reinsert the flex cable and later off mount it as the previous one was. I checked if the screws were too tight, but they didn't seem to be. I've tried tinkering with this one, (https://gyazo.com/cbb53d24dea7c46194ef62c946b0c718) but I gather no effect. After reassembly and trying, it rotates the disc, but the laser won't move back and forth on that rod.
Ah yes, this is a model 0 PAL, I've heard that it is important to say such thing.
