Japan VMU

Hey, I'm new here, and i'm currently in the process of buying a Dreamcast. It should be coming in the post, and i got batteries, 2 games, and a VMU! The trouble is, is that I put the batteries in my VMU, only to make a strange discovery. The VMU is Japaneese. Idk how i didn't realise earlier, but will this have any effect on my PAL saves? Can I change the language?

I guess you can't change the language but that's not a problem. Batteries lasts for about 6 months so you will end up not using your vmu separately very soon.

The vmu anyway does work as a memory card when attached and you will have no problems at all with pal saves, as my vmu is pal and i save jap games on it

IIRC all accessories are region free with the exception of the light gun which is region locked in some games.
