Dreamshell SD Card Adapter

Hello all,

I got an SD Card adapter from the Internet that looks like this:

s-l400.jpg (23.89 KiB) Viewed 10300 times

Mine is black, though.

It came with a mini CD that boots to a menu like this:
Un3333titled.jpg

After I installed the DreamShell DS files on my SD card (the eBay seller didn't include an SD card, I used my own), it lets me pick either DreamShell or SDLoader (I haven't installed the other ones yet on my SD card). When I pick either one, the light on the adapter is solid blue and blinks and then the DreamShell 4.0 logo appears and then the screen fades to black. It doesn't work after that. I can bring down the mouse icon for DreamShell which is hidden in the top left side of the screen, but that's it. I've tried a couple of different DreamShell editions, but I can't get any of them to work. Does anybody have any idea where to take it from here?

Pick your ds folder from dragoncity website and copy the DS_CORE.bin on "root"

I think I got it working. It might have just been my SD card.

Download here and replace only the sd.bin in your DS folder, this bin is the last update for sd cars reader.
Now you have to enjoy.

How do I go about getting GENS4ALL, SNES4ALL, AES4ALL, MAME4ALL, etc., loading from my boot CD? I know I could put the icons on the DreamShell menu (and that would be helpful too, if I could get assistance), but my CD has a loader that includes those options just from boot-up. I've tried putting the folders to the root of my SD Card, but the CD just loads DreamShell instead, even if I pick SNES4ALL or one of the other options. SDLoader just loads DreamShell too. I've gotten some of the emulators to work by loading their .bin files, but since my CD loader already has an option for those, if I could load it from there it would be a bit quicker.
To be clear, I mean this menu:
Un3333titled.jpg

Furthermore, how would you get Bleemcast loaded like this:

It has a shortcut and I'm not exactly sure how to add those from the DreamShell menu.

My SD Card is formatted FAT32, with Cluster Size 32KB (not 64KB).
I found that most formatting utilities will use 32KB by default.

I tried 64KB too,
however, I found that my Dreamcast was becoming unstable, on almost every game.
A game that was so far fine would start, and then, at some random point, just reboot the console.
With 32KB cluster size, this never happens.
I suspect it could be related to RAM limitation : a Dreamcast only has 16 MB,
so if one starts to reserve an appreciable amount of RAM to buffer those clusters,
the game itself may be lacking resources it expects to work properly.
Also, I did not notice any appreciable benefit by moving to 64KB cluster size.

I'm surprised therefore that this is a recommended configuration.
I would expect anyone to meet exactly the same problem when trying 64KB cluster size.
