DCgmail missing postfix installing

so I followed the instructions on to install the DCgmail thing and it says missing postfix installing. What exactly does that mean? is it supposed to take so long?

I'm not sure what all you did but maybe you put the file in wrong folder maybe? After installing dreampi image I put the sd back in and drag and drop the dcgmail.sh then installed it. If it breaks on install you may have put it in a bad location or maybe bad file transfer?

Re download, and copy over to root and try installing again

Does it halt or? I added "[This may take a while]" just because it takes some time to rebuild the apt repo during the installation of packages.

so i dragged and dropped it into the folder. i follow the steps and i get to the part where it says missing postfix this may take a while i left it on all night and nothing.

It doesn't go in a folder, it should be in root level.

by folder i mean the sd card folder

but just to clarify what is the root level?

The root means no directory, so right into F:\ E:\ etcetc whatever letter's assigned
