Dream Shell - Black and white Screen - Cropped Screen

I have just got my hands on a Dreamshell,

I have downloaded the software, and loaded it up on the Dreamcast.

Unfortunately when it loads up it appears black and white, also the screen is cropped. (please find the image)

Does anyone know of a solution to solve this, I suspect this could be the SD card I'm using 4GB SD Card San disk extreme 3 card.

Many thanks

Hi Steven,
I'm having exactly the same issue with my dreamshell. I've tried 4 different sd cards, and I've also tried different tv's - one of which being a crt! And still the same black and white fuzzy cropped picture.. ?! Did you ever figure out how to fix it? Regards, Leo

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've just bought a DreamShell USB/Serial gizmo, and I'm having exactly this issue.
As above, I've tried a dozen SD cards (different makes/sizes) and several TV (including a CRT) and nothing makes a difference.
Just wondering if anyone has managed to fix this issue?

I'd agree with Ian on this one. I have an NTSC television and I've used my serial adapter with the preburmed CD-r and my own DreamShell fine. Are you using an American-style or European-style Dreamcast?
