Are the bad games breaking consistantly and the good ones running consistantly? If so probably a bad image. If its all random then try the power fix. You will need to remove the power supply, clean with 99% alchohol and the pins need to be bent gently with needle nose pliers toward the rear of the console. Reinstall everything.

Also is your PNY using 64 cluster size?

I will look into the power supply but yes it is using 64k clusters. The good games work all the time but the other ones seem to freeze before I actually get to play. It usually happens on a loading screen before the start menu or sometimes when the sega logo comes up

Yeah I only used GDI’s from the trurip or the one other place. I don’t have any CDI’s installed

You might try a different usb drive too just as a test.

I got it to work, I think it was the flash drive. I was using the PNY 256GB and switched to a Sandisk cruder and everything seems to work great now! Except the fishing controller which still is not letting me scroll.

I have the older version of the board with the USB connector facing out. Will these Firmware updates work with my board?

My board is currently running Version 15/06/18

Hi
I'm having problems with the game 4 Wheel Thunder and USB-GDROM unit
When I run it, it stays at a black screen. It does show the Dreamcast logo at startup, then the Sega copyright screen and after that, the screen stays black all the time
I'm using TOSEC GDI version in both NTSC-U and PAL regions, but they don't work
I have the latest firmware installed and the launch dashboard.iso at the root of the unit
Other games do work fine, so I think it's a problem with the game or the ISO
Can somebody try the game and check if that's a general problem?
If it's a compability issue, maybe mnemo could make a fix for it
Thanks in advance

Try downloading the TruRip version instead :)

Hi
I've tried the Trurip version with the same result... It stays at a black screen
