Looks like I might need to pick this up before it starts getting expensive. Is it BBA supported?

The linux dc-pc server works like a charm for this one.
There would be a few options for users to connect to it (once it's done):

-Either using a modified version (or boot cd aka sylverant) that modifies the address the game connects to then use a free dial isp.

-Or use a dc-pc server and just redirect the query to the homebre server.

And yes, it's modem only.
Nice try you fool! lol BBQ!

Oh yes, as in all community projects...

The ETA is "when it's done", a little harsh I know, but time is scarce for me these days...

You might get a glimpse from time to time though.

A small update, server is still progressing, about 50%. Setting the basis for a stable server.

And for those who don't know much of the game I'll post some quick data i wrote about it:

Planet Ring is an online dreamcast game which features 4 multiplayer minigames,a messenger and a simple HTML like website system (TEML) to show the user pages about anything the server admin could imagine, including images. This was the first console game that had multiplayer gaming while voice chatting people all over the world. It was given away by the Official Dreamcast Magazine number 15 in the UK, also it was sold in stores. Some other countries like Spain got it for free with the microphone upon getting a certain ISP (Telefonica).

==========
FEATURES
==========

Minigames:

-Dorobo 2Players(voice chat) -> Trease hunt, guide the other player through a maze with your voice
-Splash 2Players(voice chat) -> Sink all of your opponent ships while chatting
-Ball Bubble 4Players -> Get as many bubbles as possible and boycott the rest
-Soar 16Players! -> Different race types using an air pod/ship

Other:

-Messenger
-TEML
-Online Rankings
Nice try you fool! lol BBQ!

Awesome! Can't wait for this to be back online! Do you plan on having it 100% functional including the online leaderboards?
