I was successful in connecting first time. I used the Dreamcast GD-ROM (w/bootdisc). My Dreamcast connects via the Netopia setup. I did not play being no one was in.

^I don't think that this works with the BBA.

By the way, I never connected my Rev.1 PAL DC to the Internet, and at the moment I have a broadband connection (ADSL - Net + Phone).
- Which method do you recommend? Advantages and disadvantages?
- Can't I connect my DC directly into the phone line? Maybe if I try to see if my ISP offers a dial-up service to be used with the broadband connection at the same time it will work?

I've read somewhat of the guides available here and I think that the most suitable method for my case is to set a PC-DC server, but I'm not sure and would appreciate a better description of the methods available, hence why I'm asking.

Correct. This is not compatible with BBA, yet.

Yet and... most likely never.

The game was only coded with the modem in mind, enabling bba would require disassembling the whole game and remaking most of it, the amount of work and difficulty that would take is insane. So... never...
