Help with Sega Swirl

I wanted to play with the email function of Sega Swirl but the the guide I was using is a bit confusing with what to do on the last paragraph. Plus the email function on my Web Browser 2.0 constantly comes up with an error that says the "email host is busy". Does anyone know what to do or what I'm doing wrong?
