Diagnosis on framkensteined Pi with voltage induced dial up cable.

I just noticed today that my raspberry Pi has one of the wires loose that connects to the voltage inducer for the dial-up cable to work with dreampi.

I was considering selling my Pi because i can get a PC-DC solution with a Macintosh.

Two questions

I noticed one of the wires are loose on my connections to the kinder egg. Is it correct to assume that if it gets rewired back on that this whole device should work again as intended?

Also could this be sold as a basic pie units for other stuff besides dream pie if that does not happen to work?

Just seeing if these two statements are accurate to help me sell my frankensteined Raspberry Pi machine.

What about just send your usb modem to dreamcastlive.net staff to just have a internal LVI installed? Less cost than a new entire modem
