the wvdialconf last result tells that the modem is there, but in use. So maybe ready to dial.

Just to make sure, perform this:

sudo service dreampi stop
wvdialconf

then get the new result.

then reboot the raspberrypi , wait 3 minutes, and look if the data light is up.

I had my Pi updated and I performed the command. It now detects my modem. The data light lights up, but it did that before too.

I tried connecting to the internet again, but my Dreamcast couldn´t connect. The modem itself doesn´t seem to respond to that attempt.

Hey good, the modem is ready to go, nice.

But, where is the LVI circuit? Have you built one? Internal LVI inside the modem with a dc-dc step-up converter or external LVI in the RJ11 cable cord?

the line needs 9v if your dreamcast modem is NTSC and 18v if PAL/JP. Anyway, 18v fits every case good.

:)

I have a PAL Dreamcast. I recently got an LVI that supplies 18v from Dreamcast Live shop. I got the USB plugged in my Pi, so it should be getting power. I have checked for voltage with my multimeter and I got 18 volts.
