I'm using an NTSC-U Dreamcast (I think...I'm pretty sure; it doesn't have a blue logo on top and all the menus are in English) and the modem I'm using a Dell NW147, REV A06 USB modem. This combo to me suggests I should have all the right players to just plug in a phone line and hook the modem to my Pi to get online but when I do this the DC acts like there's no one on the other end. The LEDs on the modem stay lit solid so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be noticing any activity across them.
Something I'm missing? Do I need a LVI (I thought NTSC DCs didn't)?
DreamPi not answering?

no matter what region your DreamCast is, nothing will work without LVISolidSonicTH wrote:Do I need a LVI (I thought NTSC DCs didn't)?

As I have been made to look like a dum-dum, I have traded in my modem to Dreamcast-Live for one with an integrated LVI.
