I am finally able to play online. Using planet browser 2.0 I was able to enter some modem information and save that to the internal memory. It is not necessary to remove the broadband adapter since none of the Planetweb browsers below 3.0 recognize it anyway. It will just assume you’re using a modem and give modem options.
After doing that I did get one more error telling me the BBA wasn’t setup and that I need to select ‘Website’ from the PSO ver. 2 menu to set it up. I did that and just re-typed in the specified DNS from Sylverant.net and now I’m online and ready to play. : )
