What games programmed after Sega’s last Dreamcast release have online features usable in 2019?
I prefer ones that are US, but can play other regions with DC-X. Japanese games are good as long as the gameplay doesn’t depend on reading Japanese characters or verbal language. I may miss the finer points of the story, but I’m a ludophile, I don’t care about the story unless the story has some detail that I need to advance/do well/react to.
Besides, there are games (Donkey Kong being the first I can think of) that can convey a good story through character animation non-verbally. In other media, Pink Panther was a funny non-verbal cartoon, and frankly stunk when the Pink Panther talked. They only did that for one classic episode. never again. (until Matt Frewer voiced him many years later.)
