Samba De Amigo is Back Online!

Samba De Amigo online features have been restored thanks once again to Jial! The website features leaderboard and all the available dlc! The website is available for ntsc and pal versions of the game! Special thanks to kazade for setting up dns redirect!

Well, to be fair, without the zip-drive, the DC didn't really have a way to handle DLC. The VMU storage space was pathetic, so it was either on-disc, or just download it from the Internet to RAM every time.

This game is awesome with the maracas. I have the ntsc-u version of the game as well complete inbox Japanese set. Lots of fun

Honestly, I never really looked at these tracks as DLC. They are more like unlockables for taking your Dreamcast online. Just like how Unreal Tournament had those exclusive SEGANET maps that would unlock if you had an account. So at the time this was released, I don't think there was anything bad about "disc locked content." It was a bonus for people who get more involved with the Dreamcast online infrastructure. It wasn't nefarious like some other companies were trying to do in the mid to late 00s.
