EP is handy until you unlock ULT difficulty @ lv80 then it's Ludicrous difficulty xD
Better drop-rate apparently

as for the ep, ok i don't even know what i'm talking about so i guess the regular is ok

bump on this one, so the pso on the sylverant site is the one i need to download to correctly connect to the server?
and what are the diffrences between v2 and v2 er?

Yes, download and burn the PSO boot disc 2.0 from Dreamcast-Talk.net. That is what I use. To note, I also use the PSOv2 PAL GD-ROM with BBA, Netopia but not with my DreamPi Dreamcast.

i already downloadaded that disc but is only accepting original gdroms, and i have a japanese game...is buying the pal/usa copy really the only method to play pso online or there's something else i can burn?

If you're going to use a burned copy, you'll need a pre-patched image like the
Ives one.

for what its worth, i was able to use patcher disc to boot retail jp pso and got on sylverant.

with the dreampi?because i have tried that but the game is still telling me ti configure my internet settings
