theres no real Nightly releases as far as i can see but there is slow development towards 1.7, no real clear way how to "Update" either.

would it be a matter of drag n drop while teh SD Card's EXT3 Partition's mounted in a Linux machine?

Hi,

I have a 1.7 image "ready" but it breaks WiFi for everyone and I haven't worked out why yet. Until that's fixed I can't release anything :(

It will but probably not for 1.7, I just need to move port forwarding setup to a separate thread so that our doesn't block the rest of the dreampi stuff. If I ever fix 1.7, 1.8 will likely just be the addition of upnp
