Hi, recently my Dreampi has been acting strange. When I turn it on, only one modem light lights up, yet the pi still gives me an IP address which means it's connecting to the internet. I don't know what's causing this.

I would think the issue is between the dreamcast and dreampi then.

But I'm sure more qualified people will chime in soon.

I just tried running the Pi using ethernet and both modem lights turned on. So the problem is that it doesn't want to work with WIFI anymore. Is there a fix for this?

I personal have a cable running to my dreampi as I had issues with the built in Wi-Fi on my rpi 3. I think other have had better luck with a usb Wi-Fi adapter.

I just booted up NOOBS on my Pi 3 and tried to connect to a website, and it said "page not found." So my guess is that this is more of a hardware problem than a Dreampi problem.

Have you tried giving your Pi a static IP address? I was having similar problems over WiFi with a RPI 3. Setting a static IP solved my problem. Occasionally I still get only 1 modem light with a static IP, rebooting the Pi a few times seems to work for me.

If you're using a homemade LVI circuit you soldered up (odds are you will need an LVI between the Dreamcast and DreamPi), I'd double check if the solder connections are good. A solder joint broke off when I was testing my wired DreamPi setup for the first time, and it took like a day to troubleshoot that as the cause of the modem connection issues. The modem connection would be flaky or not work at all if the LVI solder joints are flaky or disconnected.

There is also a NOOBS compatible DreamPi image (v1.6) if you wish to boot multiple OSes and DreamPi on the same SD Card while troubleshooting, with PINN being recommended to use.
