Just thought I'd add to this since the title suits my questions perfectly.

But what are you supposed to do in this game exactly?
Im just starting and last night someone helped me grind a bit and we got to the caves, now I play today and I can only do forest 1.
Are you supposed to start at forest 1 every time you play?

The walkthroughs online don't really go over the flow of the game and you should be doing when.

Lol sounds exactly like me. Plus the fact there's like 20 people on earth playing there's not a lot of help.

If you want all stages open @ team spawn , you're going to have to like wreck them offline o.O

Always accessible anywho since you can do the mop-up quests for example

Starting out is not so easy but it gets real fun once you beef up and people gift weaps seeing that you're a regular ! I started last year and almost level 110

you have to beat the levels offline to unlock them in free play, though you can play the levels by getting a quest in the same room you start in after creating a team

and if you progress to hard, very hard, etc, you have to unlock them again for each difficulty

By offline do you mean single player, no party, but online. Or literally the offline game?

Oh yeh you'd have to clear the levels+bosses on your own , per difficulty basis

Too tough for me

Keep in mind that whoever creates the team determines which areas you can access, so you can just have somebody who's unlocked everything offline create the team, and then you can access every area, even if you haven't done offline mode yet.

You can also play quests in any area at any time by talking to the counter in the Hunter's Guild. Quests are more difficult than freeplay, but they also have more monsters and thus give more experience.
