Yes, I've been having this same issue myself for the past week . I've contacted the developer of Dreampi and asked for assistance, but he's not working on the Zero at this time.

If I recall correctly from my tests with the Zero W, it will work with DreamPi but not with the internal Wi-Fi. The updates required to get the Wi-Fi to work will break DreamPi. If you want to use the Zero W, you'll need a USB Wi-Fi or Ethernet adapter.

Can you be more specific? Why does upgrading the firmware break the Dreampi? And are there any plans to fix this issue?

I really don't know what the issue is. I just know it breaks it. I don't know if Kazade plans to fix it.

I'll have a look at it when I can, but my DC has been in storage for 6 months now due to building work and there's no sign of it coming out soon

What a bummer, I just purchased two zero's for other friends Dreamcast
. No worries, they can fork over the bigger bucks. Lol.
You have done a wonderful job with programming the Pi3 to work Kazade. I thank you for all the hard work you have done to get me /us back online!

If I send you a Dreamcast, would you start work on it?

it would be cheaper to buy the recommended Pi than to ship a dreamcast wouldnt it?
