Hopefully push notifications are working for people on the latest release. I'm going to fix it so it doesn't do a new one every time someone comes on (i had 17 notifications waiting for me this morning) tonight. I would have done it last night but I had a really bad headache. If it's not working for people let me know here.

In my opinion, allowing all notifications everytime someone comes on should be an option, but not default

You could enable notification "subscriptions" also for a specific game, so they only get notifications for the games they select, or all games

If there is a PC counterpart though, all notifications should be default, I picture similar to steam notifications with a blip in the corner of the screen (Not invasive or annoying)

Again this is just my opinion/suggestion

The current notifications should be off by default, I'll look into them not being off.

Sounds like a good idea, It'll be a future update though when the app is a bit more fleshed out.

App is off to a good start.

My recommendation

Game page should list number of active users rather than names, already have a username page.

But glad to see we have an app regardless

Hi, I'm just getting into getting my old Dreamcast back online again, and just downloaded the app in anticipation of when I receive my modem.

In the games list, it would be nice to have a better visual break between games; they seem to run together for me.
Alternatively, it would be nice on the main screen of the app to have some sort of card showing only online games right now. Then I could open the app, see if anyone's online and jump on if I wanted to. :)

It's whatever you deem beneficial to implement. But keep in mind when developing the app, you're the catalyst to the DC Online scene going mainstream. There is a certain buzz about retro gaming with certain people and communities. This app bridges the gap between a VERY niche community and into the retro gaming mainstream

I'm looking forward to hopefully a master app on Windows/Linux/Mac/iOS/Android

I was planning on making the game page work like the user page where it lists the games that have current online players at the top. I didn't do this originally because the list is small so it's not hard to scroll through but it still a bit jarring and doesn't have that glance and close feel about it.

Just thought of something for dreamcast now that might be helpful. Maybe a news ticker that tells when next game nights are and what games will be played.

Though maybe we already talked about this before I cant remember lol
