Hello,

These are sites we use to ingame download .lte tracks on 4x4 Evolution (1 and 2). All adresses are caps lock sensitive.

http://4x4evo.net/lite/

http://4x4evo.tk/tracks/e1/

http://4x4evo.zz.mu/tk/

http://clan_ebp.webs.com/Tracks/
http://freewebs.com/clan_ebp/Tracks/

Last night, DC players tried dload tracks but get dns errors, if someone can host this tracks on a valid DC host i can send one .rar file with all tracks from 4x4evo.tk, around 70 mbs.

Its around 1300  .lte tracks of various styles: race, baja race, off road trails, off road Chuck Norris

Here some tracks/screen shots:

Reason for the in-game DNS errors is that a lot of DC players redirect their DNS to play most games and for awhile it had to be done to get Evo online.

2020 - correcting old info, 4x4evolution.com needs redirected to 4x4evolution.net currently

That wouldn't be the issue for me. I used to use the Dreamcast-Talk DNS but not anymore. I can download tracks from most other sites but not from the ones Highlander linked to for some reason. The error was different for each address, one gave a DNS error, one gave a 404 error, and the last one just timed out. Really odd.

Hello again,

Just updating the topic,

This site have around 2500 .lte tracks for download, works fine for Pc players: http://4x4garage.tk, also have a track list page showing tracks hosted: http://4x4garage.tk/tracks.html

Original url for dload tracks, its cas lock sensitive:

http://4x4evo.br.net78.net/lite/"trackname.lte"

Domain url:
http://4x4garage.tk/lite/"trackname.lte"

The Clan EBP have some good tracks hosted, track list page: http://clan_ebp.webs.com/downloadstracks.htm
Url for dload, also caps sensitive:
http://www.freewebs.com/clan_ebp/Tracks/"trackname.lte"

The 2500 .lte tracks colection have around 90 megabytes size, if anyone want to create one DC host for this tracks i can send this one zip. file throught mega or dropbox link.

To note, I was one of the players online yesterday that was online with 4x4 (via my DreamPi). I had a nice chat with two players from Brazil who were on PC. Hopefully, we can pre-decide tracks as the Dreamcast has a limited download capacity. They kindly recommended the 4x4garage.tk page to me. Great guys to chat with. Looking forward to how this map topic shapes up.

Hello

I would like to play with you in the next DC live night, I know good race and motocross style tracks. But my favorites are off road tracks (medium/hard/ChuckNorris difficulty.

For race or motocross/baja tracks any Class 1, 2, 3 or carrer truck is good to run, however for the off road tracks I highly recommend buying the Mitsubishi Pajero Rally and upgrade at least the engine power.
Off road tracks need something between 20 and 40 mins to close one lap, and the ChuckNorris tracks like 1 and 2 hours.

Next 4x4Evo night are 28 December, please can you say what gmt time? Im brazil we use GMT -3:00.

Thanks
