I know it's a 2amp fuse but does anyone have any idea what type?

Just take your old one to a store with you and compare it to other fuses or ask a knowledgeable store rep to help you. They should be able to assist you.

Cheers mate. I was hoping to just order one off ebay but if I have to do that then I guess thats it. I was hoping a Dreamcast forum would know the exact type

Well, it's more of a size than a "type" at that point. A 2-amp fuse is a 2-amp fuse, sorry.

Mouser has a ton of through-hole fuses that are 2A 250VAC, such as this one:

It's the same brand and rating as the one in the DC. The only thing I'm unsure of is if the original DC one is a slow-blow or fast-blow.
