I'm fairly certain the last US release by Sega was NHL 2K2, as it was the last official release in the country.

Sega didn't develop sports games; they were third-party releases.

i always thought 2k was owned by sega until after DC.. interesting...

I thought the 2K games were made by Visual Concepts which was bought by SEGA in 1999 to make DC exclusive games for them.

Visual concepts was owned by Sega back then. It was later sold.

Puyo Puyo Fever by Sonic Team is the last "1st" (2nd party) title but not the last officially published by Sega.
