Tomb Raider games on the dreamcast

what do you think of the tomb raider games on the dreamcast , I've personally never played them but i've heard that tomb raider the last revelation and tomb raider chronicles are really bad compared to the first 3 games on the playstation 1 and pc , how do those two games compare to the later ones on the ps2 and the modern reboot on the xbox one and ps4 .

How would you rate tomb raider chronicles and the last revelation out of 10 and would you recommend them

They are both strait PC ports with little alterations and optimizations. I plan to get them both sometime in the near future. So far they both looks pretty good and plays well, but the controls on the other hand looks convoluted. Nostalgia apart, Revelation and chronicles are certainly better than the previous titles... in any way, but suffer from the same problems, mainly the controls! The graphics are much smoother than the PS1... BUT are not comparable to: Headhunter, Blue Stinger, Shenmue, D2... or other games built for the DC.
I like Revelations... or at least liked it back then, but the framerate becomes bad sometimes... really bad.
Chronicles, has better graphics and sometimes reaches 60fps, but again both games look like Bleemcast titles, so... not the best on the DC.

If you like and can still play TR1 with its horrible controls, you wont be disappointed... if you like Anniversary (my personal favorite of all TRs) Underworld or the new one... then dont ruin your experience with Lara.

I would love to see Angel of Darkness and Legend on Dreamcast...I think both are on DC tech reach...with little downgrading here and there...Hope somebody can make that come true trough mods!
