time stalkers

I'm wondering if there's anyone besides me who likes this game. As far as I know there isn't a single review bout this game that doesn't completely trash it, but I've always thought it was an excellent game (playing it over again after years btw).

Everyone seems to hate this, coz it resets your exp after every dungeon, but imo the whole gaming world has missed the point here; since this game is all about finding items (completing the item & monster list), gaining skills, spells & new classes for all the (secret)chars. OK; as a typical rpg it fails miserably, coz it isn't "epic" enough, but speaking from a game's pov it isn't all that bad.

I should try it. After never heard about Test Drive Le Mans (and seeing how good it is), I'm sure there is a lot of good games hidden around.

I've read somewhere, that the yogurt ring can be used to gain massive ammounts of exp, but I haven't figured out how yet (if it's at all possible)

I bought it when it came out and HATED it. I was so desperate for an RPG on the DC and Time Stalkers didn't come close to being what I wanted it to be.

I would try it again someday if I find it cheap.

I have Timestalkers, it was my first RPG on the DC. I thought it was a great game. I liked the way the story unfolded and the option to capture monsters and use them in battles. Kind of like pokemon but cooler.

I heard that this game is called Climax Landers in japan. Which IMO is hilarious, either way, great game.

they should've kept the name for the western version imo, coz the game is basically built up of different parts of...well...lands

Tell us what you think when you get the chance to play it.

for those that decide to test it: don't put it away under "bad games" after an hour, its one of those games that gets better the more you play it

btw, those who remember Azure Dreams on the PSX, will like this game
