HORI Racing Wheel Apex for Playstation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC - Officially Licensed by Sony.

https://stores.horiusa.com/racing-wheel ... ystation-5

https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Racing-Whee ... B09PX6GHJ7 $120

When paired with the WingmanSD. https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Co ... B08CGCWKH5

No deadzone issues so far. Fully configurable from the wheel or Windows app.

Set to PC mode, which emulates a wired Xbox 360 controller. 180 degree turn axis only in PC Mode and wheel does not have force feedback or vibration support.

UPDATE: Updated firmware to v1.0.25 and they have made some changes.
- 270 degree turn axis now works in PC Mode.
- L2 button (brake) & R2 button (accelerator) are now pressure sensitive.
- Deadzone has changed. I set mine to 1 (green LED).
- Wheel sensitivity has changed. I set mine to 2 (yellow LED).

I tested with the Controller Test within 240p Test Suite. Everything looked like it should for a well-functioning wheel.

And I do plan on testing those two popular racers.

Walmart actually has it for $20 less at $99.99

I was thinking of getting an Xbox 360/Xbox One compatible wheel to then use the WingmanSD with for Dreamcast. I'm woefully unknowledgeable about wheels though.

Good catch on the sale price!

HORI also makes an Xbox X/S / One wheel (Overdrive Series). With the Xbox version of their wheel you can't configure from the wheel (deal breaker), you have to use the HORI app from the Windows Store. Plus, I'm not sure it will work the WingmanSD. The Playstation version emulates a wired Xbox 360 in PC mode, which is exactly what we want. It works on Win7, the Xbox version requires Win10+. The Playstation version is the way to go for best Dreamcast compatibility. On the PC side, I plan on using the wheel with emulators like PCSX2, PPSSPP and Dolphin, so the wheel will be performing double duty for me.

That's great to hear, thanks for trying it out! I have a deadzone mod on the way for my Race Controller, but otherwise I would have gone ahead with this.

Do you know if there's much input lag? That's one of the reasons why I didn't try the WingmanSD with a wheel in the first place - apparently it introduces enough lag to have a deadzone-like effect.

I get what you're saying. I just have way more driving/racing games on Xbox 360/One than on PS4. I think I only have Crash Team Racing and Grand Turismo 7 on PS4, so an older wheel that also works on Xbox 360 that I can get to work on Dreamcast via the WingmanSD would be best for me. Like the Hori Pro V Kai stick I have.

That old official Microsoft branded 360 wireleess racing wheels used to be really good, though nowadays most high-end wheels surpass it. I know I was enamored with that wheel like 15 years ago and just forgot about it over time. I bet you could maybe find one nowadays for under $50. They used to be priced at $100 brand new I believe.

I see some listed here for that price. Honestly, that sounds like a hell of a deal for a quality built wheel to me. Though if looking to spend more you can get all kinds of good wheels.

No, I'm not feeling any input lag or seeing any as with F355 where close-up of the wheel is shown. :D The wheel is performing beyond my expectations. The only change from defaults is I moved wheel sensitivity up one notch from 4 to 5. I'm also using the latest beta firmware for WingmanSD (1.4n)

I owe you one, DCGX. Amazon just credited my account with a $20 gift card, after I told them Walmart has it for $20 less.
