Not all games have kickstarters postal did not.. Not always them getting the most hurt.. Every one gets hurt You know why dan quit so that hurt us all losing another dev ..

With out the dev's there not much point of a publisher..

We all get hurt as new dev's see the problem and move on to more respectful secure scene..

Dont worry i have things that stop this happing :) So your on notice pirates..

Who is Dan?

There's a website out there offering latest indie titles - which I won't name. It should be taken down immediately.

I've had a bit of a think overnight and honestly I feel that the Dreamcast just isn't the right platform for what I want to achieve looking ahead.

I'll probably keep my dev stuff to tinker with here and there, but I won't be releasing anything further commercially

So who did this hurt all of us..

Kickstarter does help get the ball rolling, but it also imposes many obligations on devs, who often still have to invest a lot of their own time and money. In my experience, resellers (as well as most, but not all publishers) invest only a fraction of what I as a dev do. So I respectfully disagree with your analysis.
