Yes it came on the DreamOn Volume 8 disc

And DreamOn volume 18

For the DreamOn demo discs it's not "since at least Volume 8 (#?? to #??)", it's explicitly only #8 and #18.

Also these discs weren't solely issued in the UK. They came bundled with Dreamcast magazines in France ("Dreamcast: Le Magazine Officiel"), Spain ("Revista Oficial Dreamcast") and Germany ("Dreamcast: Das Offizielle Magazin" and after its discontinuation "Dreamcast Kult") as well. Apologies for resurrecting an old thread.

I was wondering if Sega Swirl ever came out in Japan?

They had their own magazine with GD-R occasional demo discs, as well as official promotional discs containing demos and videos (distributed by Sega) called Dream Express.

I could check the content of every Dream Express disc but not the magazine ones.
I also tried searching the Japanese internet and couldn't find any information. So I would assume it never came out in Japan, but I'm still curious if anyone here knows anything.
