The problem with 4x4 evo is the draw distance.

4 Wheel Thunder is a great arcade racer, loved it back then and still play it now. Hydro Thunder excellent too but it does tail off a bit in the later stages - it was definitely front loaded with the most impressive levels. They are both very very much ‘arcade’ racers in the purest sense, have to hit a nearly perfect lap with the right shortcuts and grabbing all the boosts to finish first, with the OTT level design being front and centre rather than the driving experience.

Never tried 4x4 Evo, will have to give it a look.

I definitely have to play this 4 Wheel Thunder game again, and try to unlock everything. But when it comes to racing, Test Drive Le Mans is taking up my time.
