Got this game the other day and wow! a true hidden gem! the gameplay imo is still excellent. reminds me of a simplified dark souls. you really need to plan your attacks and blocks. much strategy involved. system works really well and is very exciting to defeat a strong opponent.
I was playing for a number of hours without being bored. the graphics and especially lightning are also amazing! what do you guys think? imo very much worth getting and also still very cheap!

I was skeptic about it , welp the little footage I've seen the draw-in and fog seemed to have too much presence

Re: Dragon's Blood/Draconus Cult of the Wyrm
I had melted this game's GD-ROM with my Dreamcast's laser back when I was a kid (metaphorically speaking of course). The 3D worlds were very detailed and with great variety in spite of the fact that the game itself was very big. The graphics were not quite pushing the Dreamcast to its limit, however they were at a very good level, especially the special effects of the magic spells. The battles indeed needed strategy and overall the gameplay was very good. It is a game that an action-happy gamer will most likely enjoy a lot.

I think the graphics are really good. using vga through hdmi with very good tv scaler btw. the lightning really comes a live and since it was and still is a dreamcast exclusive they could do some nice work.

It's like LOTR, but everybody is wearing rollerskates!
I honestly believe that this site is great. I consider it well-stocked. I can even find sizzling hot deluxe slot for smartphone users there. It's potential is limitless!

not really. the graphics aren't any less floaty than elder scrolls.

There is a very interesting developer's behind the scenes write up on this game. It goes into great detail about how it was made. Thought you guys might find this interesting.

I still love it, the narrator's voice, the atmospheric levels, the arcadey gameplay.
Has anyone beat the final dragon without cheating (i did cheat though)?

I watched the Classic Game Room review, a few weeks ago, and the game does look interesting.
I definitely have to play this Draconus game soon. I'm really curious to see how good it is.
