Which Could Be the Problem: The Controller or the Ports?

Post by alvin777 »

Hi. The Saturn shows the date (japanese menu). I have a Sega white Nights Into Dreams controller and a Time Crisis (black) orig SEGA gun. I can't move the stuff on the menu. Do I need a regular Saturn controller? Or I should be able to control the menu using the Nights Into Dreams analog controller? Belated happy Easter.

If it's the port, any link on how to fix it?

Thank you.

God bless. Rev. 21:4

Did you put the controller in digital mode?
The switch at the bottom should be on the plus and not the circle.
That might be it.

Hi. thanks.I switched in to + but when I'm in the game and it says Start, the start button doesn't as well as the other buttons. It seems fine when it's on the menu system but not on the games. Only Port 2 (Port 1 seems dead) works.

Though, when I play a normal music CD and use it as a CD player, all the buttons including the analog work (be it in + switch or o switch) and the D-pad works. The only ones that don't work when it's just used as a CD player are the analog pad and the start button. This is on port 2.

Thanks again.
