Saturn Collection pics

So I've been threatening to do this for a while now and I thought I'd finally bite the bullet and upload some recent/up to date photos of my Saturn game collection, so here it is!

What do you guys think? Any games in particular I should get to make the collection even better? Other than the obvious missing one, Radiant Silvergun, which I will NEVER BUY!!!

Let me know what you think

Dark Saviour is great! I get confused sometimes because of the 2D/3D engine. I'm never really sure where I must jump/land... :P but this game should be in every Saturn collection.

Do you prefer RPG games?

My suggested games are:
Saturn Bomberman - Bomberman for Saturn! Singleplayer with Story and Highscore mode and 10 player multiplayer action!

Exhumed - impressive 2,5D Ego-Shooter made by Lobotomy. Very talented coders/artists! They ported Duke Nukem 3D and Quake for Saturn. Stunning engine!

Three Dirty Dwarfs - Like Double Dragon/Streets of Rage but with 3 charakters with unique weapons. Funny comic-look:

Guardian Heroes - like Three Dirty Dwarfs, but with 6 player support!
Story of Thor 2 - a 2D Zelda-like RPG
Virtua Cop - 3D Arcade lightgun shooter.
Croc and Pandemonium are 3D Jump'n'runs.
Baku Baku and Bust A Move 2 / 3 are addicting Puzzle games
Sega Ages Vol. 1 - Outrun, Space Harrier and After Burner 2

It's possiable, afaik.

cheers dude, yeah I bought pretty much all of these when they came out, actually I was kind of fortunate, I don't know how many of you know my Saturn story but I basically got it pretty late when I was 16, in 1998, the Saturn was well on its way out, and so all the software and hardware was pretty damn cheap, the ones I got new and paid full price for were Steep Slope Sliders, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Burning Rangers and Deep Fear, the rest I got second hand etc. Love the ol Saturn.

IS Shining Force 3 any good? When I buy a game for the Saturn I tend to be a bit wary, I really loved Dragon Force and Dark Saviour, those two are ridiculously original games, but I'm not a big fan of 2d sprite based RPGs unless they are as good as Phantasy Star 4!

Other thing was, are those games all available in the PAL region? I have the Action Replay cartridge but never had the balls to test it with an import game!

Lol I wondered if someone would notice that! heh, yeah D is really Strange, the reason I bought it is because I THOUGHT it was related to D2 on the Dreamcast, obviously I think that's actually wrong. Nevermind!

Did anyone ever play Enemy Zero? that is one messed up game! I'd actually really like to play it again, might crack out the saturn and give it a go sometime this week, its kind of an FPS but its story driven and VERY creepy. And for Saturn the graphics are awesome!!

I also REALLY Rate and love Deep Fear, it's cheesey as hell but its really atmospheric too

Cool, the same thing happened to me when I started to collect Dreamcast games! Evolution 2 sealed for 10 EUR, Iron Aces (like new) 5 EUR etc. :) I really looking for a complete copy of PD Saga but the sellers are (or more the "value" is) crazy. 100+ EUR for this game is too much...

All of my mentioned games are PAL. But some of same are rare/good value. :)

It is the same developer team. The story is completely different but the offical predecessor of D2.

The game is so strange. You must play this game within 2 hours or you must start all over again... no save or password function... very frustrating. ^^

yeah very odd little game lol. I've got the jag out in my front room temporarily at the moment but when I'm finished with it I might go on Dark Savior and Deep Fear again, I nearly completed Dark Saviour but got to a point where I couldn't get any further. Also Deep Fear has a point where you get so far and can't get any farther, I couldn't find where to go onwards in that game, proper shame too as it was excellent.

So give me an idea what those games you mention are like, are they all 3d or 2d sprites? Have you seen Dark Saviour? Its a kind of side on camera, the characters are sprites but the back grounds are all 3d polygons, are any of them like that?

although its often destroyed in reviews, Dark Saviour is a great game imo.
I still need to find a legit PAL copy of enemy zero though, but it so rarely pops up on ebay...
