Saturn Collection pics

I've just seen Guardian Heroes for the first time, looks pretty sweet, however I think I will wait until next week and get the XBLA version rather than shell out for a copy on my Saturn as it will have online co-op, if anyone wants to play it with me let me know!

The only reason I purchased an original xbox in the first place was for Panzer dragoon.

If I didn't have what xbox games I have now and the ability to play them, I'd still buy another xbox and a copy of that game just to have it.

I'm also thinking of getting a pc engine / turbograpx thing for maybe 4 games on the system

Just wish I had a pile of $...

Only reason I got one was because I knew I wouldn't want a PS2 or a gamecube and as GunValkyrie, Shenmue, Panzer Dragoon Orta and JSRF all went to the Xbox and it had Halo I knew where my allegiances would have to lie!

Still think Saturn is the bollocks though, my 2nd favourite console behind the Dreamcast

yeah, its even more often destroyed in reviews than the dreamcast, but if you know what its good at its an awesome console

I got my Xbox 'crystal' with Panzer Dragoon, JSRF, Fahrenheit, Project Gotham and Shenmue 2. I'd still have it now if it wasn't for a certain flatmate who had an inability to hold a cup of coffee without spillage. I was a bit anti Microsoft before I got the console but I grew to like it a lot.

What is it with the Saturn ? I really can't understand why it's so badly thought of. I find it to be a fascinating machine though maybe it never reached it's full potential. Similar to the Dreamcast in that respect I guess. I want one quite badly though, I think it's a console I could fall in love with lol

At the moment though, it's the DC and Acorn Archimedes that are my two passions so I wiil have to wait for my Saturn.

Holy shit dude did you say Acorn Archimedes? SHUT UP!!! You have one of those still? SERIOUSLY?? THAT IS AWESOME!!! I haven't seen an Acorn in years, we had them at my secondary school back in 93 until about 97 then we got windows 95 pcs etc. Seriously that's mad, you must be from the UK then, right?

Saturn is the nuts, its certainly my second favourite Sega console of all time, I agree it seriously developed a bad rep but that was mostly down to the craziness that ensued when Sega tried to upgrade the Mega Drive, that was a mistake.

Xbox was awesome though, if only for Halo on its own it still would have been my first choice over PS2 or Gamecube, I hated Sony for what happened to the DC and hated Nintendo because it was the Sega Nemesis before Sony came along lol. Good old days they were hehehe
