New Sega Saturn Homebrew- Sonic Z-Treme

There is a brand new 3d homebrew for the Sega Saturn called Sonic Z-Treme! It aims to be everything that Xtreme might have been but also some new things

that looks awesome for an alpha...this proves (yet) again that the saturn could've been a contender in the right hands...

I've been following this for a while now, though I've yet to see Crystal Frost. It does look very good.

I almost kind of agree. Turning this into a new game instead of a Sonic X-treme remake would be more interesting.

XL2 had started some of these levels about a week ago and was contacted by a convention saying they wanted a demo to show off, so XL2 made this in 3 days!

The movement is silky smooth, though the graphics load in and out worse than the release games. That being said this has had little polish I'd expect per title.

I'd be interested to see it working on real hardware. It's impressive.
