I had a question about the games that don't wanna run in 480p in version 1.6 on the original xbox. I only have 2 of them (Fable and JSRF) and I learned a forced boot trick that gets them to run in 480p without modding. While in the dashboard you hold in both sticks and both triggers at the same time to make the dash switch to 480i and then in settings you disable then enable again the 480p option. It works for both of those games but I heard it doesn't work for others. Can anyone else confirm this to work or not on other titles? I was hoping to pick up Panzer Dragoon Orta at some point but wanna make sure I can play it properly first.

Are you running component cables (5 rca ends) on your oxbox? Or composite?

Guess I'll have to try to soft mod it to get it to run.

Soft mods are nice. The one I use most is soft modded. But I have like 4 working spares. I'll see if I have 1.6 on any of them.

Is there any place that tells what all the features are and what the softmodding does? I keep finding sites that tell how to install it but not instructions on its functions.

You can run emulators and such, download games. I would think you can do more. But I don't do to much with mine.
