Well it took almost ten years, but we finally have an answer: Phantasy Star Online 2 will at last be released in North America during spring 2020.

"Phantasy Star Online 2 has been announced for the West once again, this time for the Xbox One and PC. The game will release in Spring 2020.

The game is set to be free-to-play like all other versions, and will have all story content up until now. Additionally, cross-play has been confirmed.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming West on the Xbox One and PC in Spring 2020. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, and PC in Japan."

the real question is: when will it be taken offline? being already that old & all...might as well be in 2 years & then everyone over here will be stuck with an unplayable game again

Well according to the articles I've read it is one of the absolute biggest/most popular online rpgs in Japan so I think it will be around for a while. I just hope it gets released to Europe

It would be stupid of them not releasing for Europe.. You never know with Sega, they often made bad choices in the past so..
This was one of the most exciting announcement of this E3 for me

is it pso 2 or episode 2

Unfortunately, it does not look like we will be getting iOS and Android versions in America, at least not right away.
