Oh man, SubDrag, thats a name I havent heard in a long time. Last I remember he made/was part of a full goldeneye editor and making custom games in the engine. GSCCC exciting times back then. Always wished we had seen a gameshark hacking scene on DC like the n64 had.

I don't know if clansites are still a thing, but I had to have joined ten different Worms Armageddon clan forums. But in the end blamethepixel was the only place I ever visited. Shit, even I had a worms website to host my maps. I posted a bunch of goldeneye stuff, too, back when game shark was big. "Discovering" beta content only to find out that SubDrag did it years before me.

Most video game communities had a lot of overlap. They all led back to the behemoth sites like gaia, facepunch, SA, etc., and you'd typically bookmark the ones that are pertinent when you came across them. These days I don't bookmark anything. The tabs are just perpetually open in my phone. Future.

Men & Motors channel also hosted late night gaming with models playing Crazy Taxi, wow screw U Rupert Murdoch. The Last "great" thing that was on TV late 00's was Nuts TV. Yep until they couldn't afford to bring real guests anymore for every night they were on. Again screw Rupert Murdoch what a fool to be gifted all those great channel which what everyone was paying for & enjoying by the way. Killing the word Entertainment in the SKY Entertainment!!!

Sky had .tv & Game Network. Two off Best Gaming Channels that Rupert Murdoch had on his Network! Guess what happened to them?! Got rid off for them both for those dumb All Day/Late Night Phone In Text Services! .tv, Game Network, Bravo & CNX awesome channels! Oh yeah the Game Play interactive channel hosted ton Gaming content oh man SKY produced incredible stuff early 2000's! Then the HD Era came around everything went to HELL for Network TV!

I was already collecting Gaming Magazines, watching GamesMaster or anything remotely gaming on TV. Yahoo got us to E-Mail. I was already into Blair Witch Project looking up the "Facts". Looking at those 3D South Park wallpapers as was into South Park way too much for 1999. Lucky to get a Dreamcast mid 2000. Lucky to get "everything" as in access.

Stupid dial up took forever to load up that Wallpaper too U know took a age for the Browser to close down! Played Runescape first launched, told alot "friends" about it nah didn't believe me. When they took noticed told me "no U didn't" oh whatever.

I know this might sound like a stupid question but on the topic of old internet how did you guy find sites anyway, Was it word of mouth or stuff like older search engines?
