Secondly this game has been left in the dust by Konami, one release on the DS and that was it, it was probably the last good contra game and it has never been released since then, and if anybody has not played this, go check it out, it is without a doubt the best in the series besides Hard Corps

This is directed at cypressRU, curious to know if the mega drive could handle a port of contra 4 if someone was bold enough to pull it off, being a DS, I know the hardware is extremely different, but for one, the colors don’t seem that complex enough for the mega drive to handle it, and the proof really is in the homebrew community, look at final fight MD and the port that Pyron is doing of super street fighter 2, this console could handle a lot more than we thought

New games are great too, but there are some great examples of indie titles that have the potential to play on either DC or genesis, some guy a few years back was either making a tech demo or was in the process of porting blazing chrome to sega genesis, there was like two vids from 4 years ago but nothing since, I would love to play that game on an older console

so I’ll admit I have no coding experience but I really really really wanna learn, i have been in some ways needing guidance or maybe a mentor to learn to code on SGDK, i had a few ideas to start off simple maybe try attempting to learn to port a small game like bosconian

I'm working on a game that builds for all 3 properly, and it's not too much work to set up if you have a bit of experience coding.

You can use raylib or simulant, and create games for Windows/Linux/Dreamcast all at once.

Why not just make new games

Daytona Game Night in 45 minutes 3 pm EST

The three retail bleem games work the best, tekken 3, MGS, and Gran Turismo 2, other games are in beta form, as far as I know, r type delta works pretty well, strikers 1945 isn’t to bad but each have there own issues, and almost all of the time, FMV does not work

Will check it out eventually. Am curious how Resident Evil will work on Bleem as not going to lie, little disappointed that there isn't RE1 on the Dreamcast

if you've got the right mods, you can mess around with that kinda stuff without wasting plastic! It's pretty neat!
