I just use a DreamPSU to combat overheating.

From personal experience, DC alwasy runs warm. USB-GDROM and MODE run hot, too.... and MODE is supposed to be the one with a dummy load to resolve the issue.

Aliexpress is the cheapest source for GDEMU. It may work for some time with your current OEM PSU, but that may need to be addressed in the future due to overheating or degrading capacitors. You gain the task of loading up SD cards and dealing with their occasionally faulty connections.

I think its time i switch to GDEMU, my pc does not have a CD burner, and i dont want to be a pain in the ass and ask people to burn cds for me, what are the cheapest routes to go for GDEMU, what am I gaining and what am i losing?

Gamera 2000 on Bleem plays just like a Dreamcast game, unlocked framerate maybe 20FPS on the PSX but 50FPS-60FPS on Dreamcast

I have never seen a more ambitious project nor have I ever worked with a more talented group of absolute rock star Dreamcast devs. The entire community came together on this one, and we've managed to even match the PS2's lighting and effects. Mostly just working on framerate and CD streaming performance now.
