I have had this "problem" for years.
Every time I want to play a game from TOSEC library, I have different dumps of a game, and I don't know which one I should choose. Any of them seems to run, but I don't know the differences between them.
E.g.: Dave Mirra
- Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX v1.001 (2000)(Acclaim)(US)[!][0K055A, B, D, E]
- Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX v1.001 (2000)(Acclaim)(US)[!][10S]
NFL 2K
- NFL 2K v1.007 (1999)(Sega)(US)[!][9S]
- NFL 2K v1.007 (1999)(Sega)(US)[!][10S]
- NFL 2K v1.007 (1999)(Sega)(US)[!][13S]
- NFL 2K v1.007 (1999)(Sega)(US)[!][MT B08, B13, B17, B19, B20]
It's absolutely crazy. It also happens with Saturn games.
Does anyone knows what those suffixes mean, and which one is "the better" to play? Thanks.
Different dumps of same game. Which one should I play?

In 99%+ of cases, they're identical (in terms of game data) if the version number is the same.
These are what are sometimes called "ring codes" or "mastering codes", and have to do with the actual pressing of the disc at the factory.
